Emerging women's wear label from Melbourne, 'Desaku' was created
in Australia in 2010 by Indonesian born Ika Yuni. Meaning
'birthland' in bahasa the label holds true to Ika's heart and
memories as a creative individual growing up in Indonesia.
Creative director and founder of 'Desaku' Ika came to Australia to
pursue her passion in fashion design, found a niche for bespoke
women's wear and the 'rest is history'. Desaku has now launched 3
successful collections of which have been automatically taken up
by dozens of boutiques located all over Australia. Their most
recent collection was Fashion Exposed Melbourne and biscuit
magazine .. clothes was worn for suzuki swift advertising and will
be featured for BMW commercial. We also have design that using
vintage material therefore only some pieces are produce using this
material. Desaku is elegant, comfortable, edgy,yet stylish. |
